POP Termiticides/Alternatives IS - Objectives
This information system has been developed by UNEP to:
- facilitate the exchange of information and experience relevant to the elimination of termiticides that are Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs),
- provide easy access to guidance materials from the UNEP/FAO Global Termite Expert Group, and
- assist countries in efforts to eliminate the use of POP termiticides as required under the Stockholm Convention.
