Circulation of the 1st draft for comments

The first draft of the assessment report was circulated for comments to all members of the GMA Working Group on 25 April 2002.  It was sent by e-mail to members with e-mail access and mailed out to those without such access.  It was also sent to other Governments or organizations that had submitted information for the report, even though the Government or organization had not nominated any member to the GMA Working Group.

The send-out was accompanied by a note explaining how the document was drafted and the types of comment and input being sought from Working Group members.  This note can be accessed here.

Finally, a short information note was sent to Permanent Missions of Governments located in Nairobi (UNEP headquarters) and Geneva (UNEP Chemicals), informing them that the draft assessment report has been circulated and that it can be accessed over the GMA website.

The 1st draft of the assessment report and the accompanying appendix can be downloaded from the table below.  In addition the document – List of submissions received as of 25 April 2002 – is provided for information. The html-version of this document provides active links to each submission.
