UNEP Chemicals activities in West Asia

National Registers of Potentially Toxic Chemicals (NRPTCs) or National Information Systems/Centres on Chemicals

Objectives of NRPTCs are:

support national authorities dealing with hazard and risk assessments and the control of chemicals;

make use of the globally applicable information available in IRPTC and complement this with data of national relevance;

set up a national network for information exchange;

report to IRPTC national data which are of global significance.
