UNEP Chemicals (IRPTC) operates a Network of National Correspondants to facilitate the exchange of information on chemicals between countries, regions and international organizations. The actual network is composed of 138 members from 129 countries, spread over 5 continents.

UNEP Chemicals (IRPTC) is also part of other international project for the exchange of chemicals information. The Global Information Network for Chemicals (GINC) is an initiative of international organizations with the support of national institutions. UNEP Chemicals (IRPTC) is playing an important role in the implementation of GINC and it is acting as the secretariat for GINC.
