The country profile provides official information about production, import, export, use and stockpiles of DDT and its alternatives reported by countries through the DDT Questionnaire as well as from other data sources.
Parties to the Stockholm Convention (SC) using DDT for disease vector control (DVC) must report every three years to the Convention Secretariat and WHO on the use and conditions of such use. The first Conference of the Parties to the SC adopted a Questionnaire for DDT Reporting.
