Jointly developed by UNEP, WHO and SSC

This Information System on DDT has been established jointly by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Chemicals Branch, World Health Organization (WHO) Global Malaria Program and Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention (SSC).

It provides easy access to relevant up-to-date information and guidance on DDT and its alternatives in disease vector control. The System compiles information from UNEP, WHO and SSC and other relevant sources and can be used to monitor the production, use and management of DDT on a national, regional and global scale. It is especially developed as a tool for exchanging data, experiences and expertise on the management and use of DDT within and between regions.
