An unknown amount of DDT is contained in the 12.000 t stored in 340 landfills for obsolete pesticides.
The Rudna Góra industrial-waste landfill contains approx 400 t of DDT.1

Roughly one third of the 297 officially registered "tombs" where obsolete pesticides are stored have been surveyed. Those surveyed contained approx. 102 t of POP pesticides, including DDT. There are an additional 800 unofficial "tombs" which have not been surveyed containing over 12.000 t of unidentified pesticides and other toxic substances.3
