- 870,3 kg).1 In the reporting period 2003-2005, the
amounts of DDT used were: (2003 - 1.089 kg, 2004 - 1.097 kg and 2005
- 799 kg).1

vector control) in Mauritius. DDT is used to an extent of
50-100 kg per year, when malaria cases are reported. The application
