A detailed inventory of obsolete stocks and contaminated sites is on going.3

A specialized dump of hazardous wastes at Sumgait contains some 800t of DDT and lindane.3

There are about 8.000t of obsolete stocks of pesticides including DDT stored in concrete containers in inadequate conditions.3

From 1988 to 1990, 5.250t of DDT were stocked in warehouses.3
