This section provides information on Action Plans developed by Governments, WHO and other organizations with the purpose to identify the actions needed for the establishment of appropriated policies to reduce the reliance on DDT for disease vector control (DVC). These plans presented in this section, emerge from activities and expertise in the spirit of POPs Convention and provides examples of national strategies and policies to undertake technical measures having as main goal, the reduction of reliance on DDT.
