The
draft final
reviews of scientific information on lead and
cadmium - Version of November 2008-
have been finalized and they will
presented for the twenty-fifth session of the
Governing Council/Global Ministerial Environment Forum in February
2009.
March
2008
The
interim reviews of
scientific information on lead and cadmium - Version of March 2008-
have been circulated to members of the Lead and Cadmium Working
Group for comments by 13th June 2008. The reviews are expected to be
finalized and presented for the twenty-fifth session of the
Governing Council/Global Ministerial Environment Forum in February
2009.

The UNEP Executive
Director "urge all Governments in a
position to do so to give careful consideration to the support they
can offer to this work [Governing Council decision 24/3] . The early
declaration of financial and technical support will facilitate the
detailed planning of the activities with Governments requested in

Through the Governing Council decision 24/3 there
are a number of actions to be taken by Governments, in particular in
relation to details of the information requested in part III of the
decision (Lead and cadmium). The requested information on lead and

here- should be submitted to UNEP
